Tivan strikes Molyhil’s ‘ultra-high-grade’ fluorite

Tivan (ASX:TVN) has identified “ultra-high-grade” fluorite mineralisation across three outcropping reefs at its Molyhill Project in the Northern Territory.

A reconnaissance and rock-chip sampling program conducted in late-October has returned grades of up to 85.9% calcium fluoride, with four of 13 samples returning grades above 50% calcium fluoride.

The reefs extend over roughly 2.5km of strike, and were identified in an area adjacent to the company’s Sandover Fluorite Project.

The next phase includes additional field-mapping and rock-chip sampling in Q1 2026 to define the extent of fluorite mineralisation.

Executive Chairman Grant Wilson says the results add a significant new dimension to Tivan’s collaborative fluorite strategy with Sumitomo Corporation (TYO:8053).

“Our team is currently redeploying from Speewah to Sandover,” Wilson says.

“We are looking forward to the commencement of drilling at the Sandover Fluorite Project from mid-November.”

As reported by Mining.com.au, Tivan entered a memorandum of understanding with Sumitomo over Molyhil earlier this month, marking the parties third collaboration agreement.

Tivan acquired the Molyhil Project in September 2025 and plans to broaden exploration across the adjacent Sandover and Molyhil fluorite systems.
