Tinka Resources (TSX-V:TK) announces the resignation of company director Pieter Britz.
Britz decided to withdraw his name from the slate of nominees for election to the board to focus on ongoing work commitments related to the management of the Sentient Resources funds and associated investments.
Britz joined Tinka in January 2018 as a director, nominated by Sentient.
Tinka Resources is a Canadian explorer and developer focused on the Ayawilca Project in central Peru. The Ayawilca Project is considered prospective for zinc, silver, and tin.
The company is undertaking a strategic review, with the assistance of an advisor, to identify and evaluate a broad range of potential strategic alternatives to advance its Ayawilca Zinc Project in Peru.
The explorer says the 16,800-hectare Ayawilca Project is one of the largest undeveloped zinc resources in the Americas.
The strategic review is expected to be completed during Q2 2025.
