Terra Uranium powers leadership team

Terra Uranium (ASX:T92) has appointed 30-year resources and finance veteran Haydn Lynch as its new Non-Executive Director.

The $9.36 million market capitalisation company says Lynch has garnered experience across multi-commodity resource project development, including asset and corporate deal structuring, cross-border project finance, project joint venture negotiation, and representation.

Terra Uranium Executive Chairman Andrew J Vigar says the appointment of Lynch falls in line with the company’s new phase of growth.

“With a long and distinguished career in financial markets and resources, he brings an exceptional range of contacts, not only in Asia Pacific but North America and Europe. Haydn greatly bolsters Terra’s financial and corporate skills at board level and is a very welcome addition to the company.”

Lynch has worked in various tenures as a mineral resources executive across a spectrum of companies, including juniors to global majors in Australia, North America, Africa, and North and Southeast Asia.

Lynch is currently the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Manuka Resources (ASX:MKR), a precious metals producer in New South Wales.

Lynch is bringing to Terra his ‘extensive’ experience in commercial transactional and banking, which he has developed through various roles with companies such as Bankers Trust Australia, Zurich Capital Markets, Investec, and RBC Capital Markets.

He is also currently the co-founder of Metamor Capital Partners, a private family office investor in emerging companies.

Lynch holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mech) and Economics from the University of Queensland and a Master of Commerce from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney.

Terra Uranium is a mineral explorer positioned in the Athabasca Basin in Canada, a premium uranium province hosting the world’s largest and highest-grade uranium deposits.

As of 30 September 2023, Terra Uranium had $610,000 cash and cash equivalents at hand, although the company launched a $700,000 placement in November.
