Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) is currently working towards completing a heritage survey at its wholly owned Yalgoo Project in Western Australia ahead of a potential drilling program.
The company will target the Halo prospect for its known iron occurrences, while also testing for potential copper and gold mineralisation.
The project has already received the required regulatory approvals for drill testing.
On completion of the survey, Tempest will update the geological models to reflect the most recent observations before planning and scheduling phase one of drilling at the project.
Across at the Range Project in Mt Magnet, Tempest has returned rock chip samples of up to 1 gram per tonne of gold, streamlining an upcoming surface sampling program to test for additional gold targets.
The Range Project will undergo a 1,500m reverse circulation drilling program to test gold targets.
Tempest Minerals is a mineral explorer that holds a diversified portfolio of projects in Western Australia.
