Tempest gains more Sanity

Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) is looking to progress towards drilling at the Sanity target within its Yalgoo Project in Western Australia, following reports of an extension to the gold anomaly.

Sampling results returned up to 294 parts per billion, after the resolution of geochemical data improved across the sampling density, which was tightened from 200m by 200m to 100m by 100m.

Tempest, which has a market capitalisation of $2.93 million, reports that the gold and silver tested follow the same geochemical dispersion.

Rock chips taken from surrounding mine shafts returned results including up to 7 grams per tonne gold and 0.2% copper and greater than 60% iron.

The company believes the sampling results confirm the potential for further mineralisation within the project area.

Geological mapping identified pyroxenite and metamorphosed mafics, which Tempest says points to the potential for a broader mineralised system at Sanity.

The Yalgoo Project contains an extension of the Yalgoo Greenstone belt across Tempest’s 1,000km2 exploration ground.

Previous testing of over 200 samples across the target first indicated the multi-element geochemical anomaly in October 2023, as reported by Mining.com.au.

Tempest Minerals is an Australian mineral explorer focusing on precious, base, and energy minerals across its portfolio of projects spanning Western Australia.
