Tajiri winds up tranche one private placement

Tajiri Resources (TSX-V:TAJ) has closed a non-brokered private placement, raising around C$2.1 million ($2.15 million), which will be used for exploration and development across its portfolio of projects.

Tranche one comprised around 11.75 million units at C$0.18 per unit. The second tranche is expected to close on or about 24 April 2026.

Each unit comprises one common share and half of a share purchase warrant, exercisable to acquire one common share at C$0.40 until 20 October 2027.

The company announced its intention to initially raise up to C$1.5 million via the capital raise in late March 2026, as previously reported

On 10 April 2026, the company upsized the offering, following ‘strong’ investor interest.

Tajiri owns the Yono and Reo gold projects located in Africa.

Yono is considered a high-potential gold exploration opportunity in Guyana. The project is strategically positioned adjacent to more than 8.9 million ounces of indicated and inferred resources.

Meanwhile, the Reo Project was purchased by Tajiri in late 2018 and represents a regional scale discovery opportunity located in Burkina Faso. The project covers 1,002km2 on the Houndé and Boromo greenstone belts that just within Burkina Faso hosts several multi-million ounce deposits.
