Sybil shepherds ‘shallow, high-grade’ gold for Sunshine

Sunshine Metals’ (ASX:SHN) Sybil Project within the greater Ravenswood Consolidated Project in north Queensland, has continued to return “shallow, high-grade” gold intercepts from a recent diamond drilling campaign.

The company conducted 1,177.4m of drilling across 14 holes between August-October 2025, targeting low-sulphidation epithermal gold mineralisation at the A and Main Veins.

Intercepts include 7m @ 3.93 grams per tonne gold from 65m, including 3m @ 7.65g/t gold from 69m; 4.8m @ 1.48g/t gold from 59.2m; and 2.8m @ 15.15g/t gold from 37m.

The company says these results complement the first seven holes, with best holes returning grades of 57.51g/t gold and 148g/t gold, as reported by Mining.com.au

Managing Director Damien Keys says results from the remaining four holes are expected to be returned in mid-November.

“Sybil continues to return shallow, high-grade gold intercepts proving the A-Vein as an exemplary low-sulphidation epithermal gold target,” Keys says.

Sunshine Metals is a gold and copper-focused explorer with a portfolio of projects in Queensland.

The company will be attending this year’s Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held between 12-14 November 2025, at the Peppers Noosa Resort. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event.
