Mining services company SSH Group (ASX:SSH) has executed a binding agreement to acquire privately held Total Contract Mining.
Total Contract Mining is an Australian mining services partner, which works with junior and mid-tier mining companies to identify, develop, and operate profitable mining projects.
Under the acquisition, SSH will pay $60,000 to Samuel Baker for the company, subject to completing due diligence and satisfying key terms outlined in a non-binding term sheet announced in March 2025.
The transaction is expected to be completed by 16 May 2025.
Upon completion of the acquisition, Baker will be appointed as COO of SSH’s mining services vertical, while Kevin Malaxos will be appointed as non-executive director.
Managing Director Daniel Cowley-Cooper says the acquisition represents a significant strategic step forward for the company and its mining services vertical.
“The transaction and appointments not only strengthen our operational capacity but bring in a team of highly capable professionals with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in hard-rock mining across Western Australia,” Cowley-Cooper says.
SSH Group has a portfolio of industrial service businesses focused on service delivery to the Australian mining, civil, and construction industries.
