Construction, maintenance, and mining services firm SRG Global (ASX:SRG) has been awarded a specialist facades and structures contract valued at $120 million in Perth, Western Australia.
The company says the contract has been secured from construction company Multiplex for the design, supply, and installation of specialist engineered curtain wall facades and structures at the Edith Cowan University (ECU) City Project in Perth.
SRG Global notes this new contract represents the latest in a long streak of contract wins since the start of the 2023 financial year. To date, the company has secured up to $910 million of new contracts.
The company also notes the $850 million ECU City project will bring together creative industries, business and law, and emerging technologies. The project is set to invigorate the Perth City Link precinct and the Perth CBD through the introduction of a community of more than 10,000 staff and students to integrate with industry, and stimulate economic activity and patronage for surrounding businesses.
In addition, the contract has been awarded following the completion of an institutional placement undertaken to partially fund the acquisition of ALS Asset Care, as announced by the company earlier this month. The placement raised up to $46.4 million and received ‘strong’ support from both existing and new institutional investors.
Speaking on the contract, SRG Global Managing Director David Macgeorge says: “We continue to secure significant contracts, on some of the most important developments across Australia, demonstrating the value of our long-term, trusted relationships with our key clients. These contract awards are also evidence of our strong technical expertise and 40-year track record of delivering specialist building projects.

SRG Global is an ASX-listed diversified industrial services company bringing an engineering mindset to deliver critical services for ‘major’ industry across the entire asset lifecycle of engineer, construct, and sustain. The company currently has more than 2,600 employees across 3 operating segments of asset maintenance, mining services, as well as engineering and construction.
