SRG Global secures $125 million in energy, resources contracts

SRG Global (ASX:SRG) has secured several contracts, valued at $125 million, in the energy and resources sectors across Australia.

The contracts include an initial infrastructure contract for the design and construction of concrete tanks for BHP’s (ASX:BHP) iron ore division in Newman, Western Australia.

SRG, which has a market capitalisation of $453.55 million, says the contract has already begun and is expected to be completed within two years.

Meanwhile, Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) has awarded SRG a six-year contract for asset integrity and rope access services at its Yarwun Refinery in Gladstone, Queensland.

SRG says the contract works will begin this month and are expected to be completed in 2030.

Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) has renewed its asset integrity services contract at its upstream infrastructure network across Queensland. The contract has begun and is expected to be completed in 2025.

Unlisted Snowy Hydro has also awarded SRG a specialist structural design and construct contract to replace the existing roof support, walkway and water shedding system at the Tumut 1 Power Station site in Cabramurra, New South Wales.

The contract has begun and is expected to be completed within 18 months.

Managing Director David Macgeorge says SRG’s growth profile and recurring earnings base is approaching 80% of its overall earnings, which is in line with the company’s long-term strategy.

SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company that delivers services for industries including mining and resources, defence, industrial processing and renewable energy, among others.
