Solis Minerals (ASX:SLM) has received all drilling permits needed to begin drilling at the wholly-owned Cinto Copper Project in southern Peru.
Drilling will comment with a strategic targeting of coincident anomalies, with the drillhole sequence determined by Solis Minerals’ exploration team in consultation with their drilling contractor. 17 drill pads have been permitted, which allows for the company to respond to results received throughout the programme.
The drill programme has been budgeted for 2,500 metres, with drill rig mobilisation and pad preparation beginning in December 2025.
Chief Executive Officer Mitch Thomas is pleased with the permitting progress at Cinto and notes, “Cinto has an excellent combination of an outcropping mineralised footprint, proximity to globally significant copper mines and regional infrastructure. We are very excited to bring shareholders along Cinto’s exploration journey.”
Additional news flow from the drill hole results for Ilo Este and Chancho al Palo (both wholly-owned by Solis) will be released in December following the receipt of final assay results.
Solis Minerals is an emerging exploration company focusing on its copper portfolio in Peru.
