Silverco Mining (TSX-V:SICO) has reported ‘high-grade’ silver intercepts from its ongoing 30,000m drill program at the Cusi Property in Chihuahua, Mexico.
The company intercepted 1,280 grams per tonne silver (Ag) over 3.35m true width in hole UGCU26-09. This includes 5,729g/t Ag over 0.65m true width. The hole also returned 1,103g/t Ag over 1.28m true width, including 3,645g/t Ag over 0.37m true width.
Additional ‘significant’ results include hole UGCU26-10 with 632g/t Ag over 4.18m true width, including 916g/t Ag over 1.79m true width, and hole UGCU26-14 with 597g/t Ag over 1.55m true width.
The drilling targets high-potential areas for resource growth and infill drilling at Promontorio and San Miguel to optimise mine planning ahead of a mineral resource estimate update planned for the first half of 2027.
CEO Mark Ayranto says the program continues to deliver ‘significant’ silver mineralisation within first-year mining areas outlined in the preliminary economic assessment (PEA).
“The standout intercept from hole UGCU26-09 confirmed more high-grade mineralisation over meaningful widths at Promontorio, one of our initial mining zones,” Ayranto notes.
The intercept sits 20m south of hole UGCU26-08, another recent high-grade intercept reported in July 2026 within the current mine plan for 2027.
Silverco Mining remains on track to restart operations and ship first concentrate from Cusi in the December quarter 2026. The work will be supported by the PEA, which outlined average annual silver equivalent production of 2.47 million ounces.
