Silver47 Exploration (TSX-V:AGA) has received samples, which returned some of the highest gold and silver grades reported in the area, from the Kennedy Project in Nevada, US.
Results of up to 44.5 grams per tonne gold, 3,037g/t silver, and 8.56% copper confirmed the presence of a widespread high-grade vein system, which according to the company spans 22km.
CEO Galen McNamara said the company’s strategy of exploring the Kennedy Project is revealing “high-grade” targets across largely untested veins.
“These initial results confirm our acquisition strategy and position the district as a unique discovery opportunity in Nevada,” McNamara said.
The company has also expanded its land position by staking an additional 4,000 acres, securing all prospective open ground surrounding the project.
The Kennedy Project covers a 3km2 area with 22km of near-surface veins and historically have not been developed or tested recently.
The group plans to conduct further geophysical surveys, and sampling to identify potential targets.
At its Red Mountain project in Alaska, Silver47 has drilled 12 holes, with assay results pending to confirm the extent of mineralisation.
