Silver47 embarks on next key drilling step for 2026

Silver47 Exploration (TSX-V:AGA) is planning an upcoming drilling program across the eastern extensions of the Tonopah Mining district at the Hughes Project in Nevada, US.

Up to 7,000m of drilling is planned, targeting the Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald discoveries. The program will use reverse circulation pre-collars to advance through the upper sections followed by diamond core tails through the prospective target zones.

Drilling will start with a fence of angled holes at the Ruby discovery designed to intercept the primary mineralised structure. This builds directly on multiple mineralised veins encountered to date, plus widespread and intense hydrothermal alteration seen in all holes.

CEO Galen McNamara says following the ongoing Mogollon Project’s winter drill program, this is the next key step in the 2026 drilling pipeline.

“Since we first drilled the Ruby target in 2020, our technical team has believed this is one of the best high-grade silver-gold discovery opportunities in Nevada,” McNamara says.

“The holes drilled to date in the eastern extension have shown significant mineralisation at Ruby, and those results will directly guide our upcoming program as we continue hunting for the main structure east of the district.”

At Ruby, a series of at least four angled oles are designed to evaluate the scale, structural controls, mineralisation continuity, presence of parallel vein-sets and the near-surface potential of the vein system.

At the Sapphire target, drilling will investigate the structural controls on the epithermal-related mineralisation observed in reverse circulation chip holes, as well as test for parallel vein-sets and the dip-extent of vein-hosted silver-gold mineralisation.

Meanwhile at Emerald, drilling will investigate the epithermal-related gold-silver mineralisation potential of the target’s breccia system at depth. Holes are also planned to intersect the modelled structure below the outcropping breccia system targeting areas proximal to the strong alteration intersected near the bottom of drillhole SUM23-61.

Silver47 Exploration is a mineral explorer focused on discovering and developing silver-rich deposits in North America.
