Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) says it is looking to expand the down dip and strike potential of its 2024 Main Fault discovery in an ongoing exploration program across its flagship Haldane Silver Property in Yukon, Canada.
The company has currently completed drilling of 1,300m across six holes, as a part of Silver North’s initial plans to drill 10 holes for 2,500m, as reported by Mining.com.au in August.
The campaign is anticipated to be completed in early November.
So far into the campaign, CEO Jason Weber says the company has “successfully” tested the strike extensions to the northeast and southwest.
“We have yet to receive analytical results from the initial holes but expect to have the first set of results in early November,” Weber says.
Silver North uncovered three stacked silver-bearing veins at the Main Fault prospect last year, returning 28.36m @ 130 grams per tonne silver, 0.09g/t gold, 0.55% lead, and 0.52% zinc.
Following a 29.33% monthly increase, Trading Economics reports the price of silver to be at US$54.08 ($83.38) as of 17 October.
Paycore Diamond Drilling is acting as the drill contractor for this program across the Haldane Property.
Silver North Resources is a silver-focused explorer focused on developing its Canadian assets in the Yukon region.
