Silver47 Exploration (TSX-V:AGA) has returned grades higher than 1,000 grams per tonne of silver from the Adams Plateau Project in British Columbia, following a recent geochemical survey and rock sampling program.
The company collected more than 5,000 soil samples for 35km2 area to infill and expand historical grids, along with 90 rock samples to expand mineralisation.
Grades returned include 3,156g/t silver equivalent, including 2,310g/t silver, 1.7% zinc, and 20% lead; 2,154g/t silver equivalent, including 1,230g/t silver, 5.4% zinc, and 20% lead; and 2,109g/t silver equivalent, including 835g/t silver, 13% zinc, and 20% lead.
The company says these anomalies extend into zones with previous drilling results, which includes 4.8m @ 1,393g/t silver equivalent and 3.66m @ 468g/t silver equivalent.
CEO Galen McNamara says this work represents an important step towards drill target definition.
“The extensive surface mineralisation on the project is very encouraging and underscores the prospectivity of the Eagle Bay assemblage,” McNamara says.
“Concurrently, the company is looking forward to announcing its plans for a winter drill program at the Mogollon Project which will be guided by a set of precisely planned drill holes along the Queen Vein.”
The company is still awaiting for assays from eight holes from the summer drilling campaign, while drilling ramps up at the Mogollon Silver-Gold Project, New Mexico.
Executive Chairman Gary Thompson says recent results have firmed up widespread mineralisation at the project.
“Silver47 has a busy fall-winter planned with assays pending for eight holes from the summer drill program at the Red Mountain Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide Project, Alaska and fall-winter drilling ramp-up on the Mogollon Silver-Gold Project, New Mexico,” Thompson says.
Located 100km northeast of Kamloops in British Columbia, the Adams Plateau Project is considered prospective for silver, zinc, copper, gold, and lead.
