Signature Resources (TSX-V:SGU) has announced results from an independent gold deportment and mineralogical study completed by SGS Canada on composite samples from the four main gold zones at the Lingman Lake Gold Project in northwestern Ontario.
The study notes that gold occurs primarily as free milling gold and gold-silver alloys within the high grade portion of the system and the majority of the gold grains are either exposed or partially exposed, which indicates beneficial processing characteristics.
The samples have returned gold recoveries from 92.6% – 96.6% across the four zones and suggest comparable gold metallurgy across multiple higher-grade domains at Lingman Lake.
CEO Dan Denbow says that the purpose of the study was “to understand where the gold is present in the system, how it occurs, and gain some initial insights to guide on potential recovery of mineralisation”.
Signature also has announced the appointment of Stacy Freudigmann to its advisory board. Stacy brings significant experience in metallurgical analysis, process, and project management to the team and will assist as the company continues to advance the Lingman Lake Project.
Freudigmann is currently CEO and Founder of the Canadian Engineering Company and has provided consulting services to the mining industry for over 15 years. With his appointment, the company has granted his 750,000 options, exercisable at $0.09 for a period of five years, with a three-year vesting period.
Speaking on this appointment, Denbow says that it “comes at an important time in our advancement of the property and reflects our growing confidence in the Lingman Lake Project”.
“Stacy’s vast experience in metallurgical studies and project development and his counsel in tailoring our metallurgical programs will be invaluable as we advance the project forward towards feasibility and eventually production.”
Signature Resources is an exploration company focused on expanding the wholly owned Lingman Lake gold deposit, located in the Red Lake district in northwestern Ontario.
