Signature Resources (TSX-V:SGU) has encountered an unexpected ‘strong’ quartz-chlorite-carbonate vein breccia system at the Lingman Lake Project in Canada, after receiving the first drill results.
After reviewing the geophysics, the company found the new anomaly coincides with a very low frequency conductor which has a strike length of 1,700m east-west and located 250m south of historical drilling.
Signature is planning to test the western section of the conductor where it is the strongest with two shallow drillholes as additions to the winter drill program.
The winter drill program, which began in November 2025, comprises eight holes for 3,900m of drilling. To date, 1,950m of drilling has been completed.
The company says the exploration program is advancing with deep drilling on the central part of the system and to be followed by three holes planned to test the western extents of the system.
Some of the latest results include 478m @ 0.22 grams per tonne gold; 515m @ 0.95g/t gold; 279m @ 0.11g/t gold; and 410m @ 3.33g/t gold.
The Lingman Lake Project is currently contained within a conceptual pit shell of 1,600m east-west by 400m north-south by 340m at surface and is open in all directions.
