Saxon joins Military Metals cavalry

Mark Saxon has joined the Military Metals (CSE:MILI) cavalry as an independent director, increasing the board to five seats.

Military Metals has granted Saxon 200,000 shares at C$0.95 ($1.02) per share. These options have a five year period and are subject to a four-month hold period.

Saxon has 30 years of experience in exploration and resource geology. He has been working in CEO and leadership roles over the past decade for Canadian and Australian public companies.

CEO Scott Eldridge says Saxon has an extensive technical background in critical minerals coupled with decades of capital markets experience in Canada and Australia.

“He is a welcome addition to our team and will help deliver on our strategy of contributing to global antimony markets through the exploration and development of brownfields projects in multiple countries,” says Eldridge.

“He was the qualification person for the recent NI 43-101 report on the exciting Sunday Creek antimony-gold discovery of Southern Cross Gold (ASX:SXG) and Mawson Gold (TSX-V:MAW).”

Military Metals is a British Columbia-based mineral explorer focused primarily in acquiring, exploring, and developing mineral properties prospective for copper, antimony, and gold.
