Robex Resources (ASX:RXR) reports construction at its Kiniero Project in Guinea is on schedule and remains within budget, with first gold production expected in the December quarter.
Concrete works for the process plant and power station are set to be completed by this month, as well as the oxide crusher run-of-mine wall final lift and power station fuel tanks slab.
Work on the smaller process plant tanks is underway, with all project fabrication materials completed and in transit to site.
Mobilisation of the Mining Services Contractor is progressing as planned, with 70% of tranche one equipment delivered to site. The remaining equipment is expected to arrive by 30 August 2025, while tranche two delivery is planned for 30 September 2025.
CEO Matthew Wilcox says more components of the Kiniero plant are completed each month as the team maintains a high-level of effort.
“We expect to finalise more items in the month ahead, with all major components remaining on track or ahead of schedule to ensure we reach our target of first gold in Q4,” Wilcox says.
“With drilling at Mansounia completed last month, grade control drilling has focused on Sabali where we completed more than 35,000m in July. We have some remaining results awaited for Mansounia and many remaining for Sabali as this program nears completion.”
The Kiniero Project, covering 470km2, has a 9.5-year mine life with a 1.4 million ounce probable reserve.
