Robex nears gold pour for Kiniéro

Robex Resources (ASX:RXR) is on track to pour first gold from the Kiniéro Gold Project in Guinea in Q4 CY25, as the company plans its first blast this month.

The company has mined 82,590 tonnes of material, including 20,625 tonnes of ore, to date, operating on both day and night shifts. Historical stockpiles have provided an additional 10,000 tonnes of ore to the main run-of-mine (ROM) pad.

Robex says the project remains lost time injury free over the 4.86 million hours completed at the end of September, which has culminated in the field erected tankage reaching 99% completion. The tankage is on schedule, with just the outside to be painted.

The remaining footings for the oxide crusher ROM wall and power station were poured earlier this month, while 50% of the structural steel has been erected or preassembled.

CEO Matthew Wilcox says the team have been effective in meeting time and budget considerations, with construction to wind up shortly.

“Major components of the process plant have taken shape and are nearing the commissioning phase, which is scheduled to commence next month,” Wilcox says.

“I am really proud of what we have achieved to date at Kiniéro, and what is ahead for Robex in the next few months as we achieve first gold and ramp up to full production.”

The company will continue with structural, mechanical, and piping activities for the process plant and power station, finalise mill installation, and install electrical and instrumentation required for energisation in switch rooms ahead of November commercialisation.

Meanwhile, Robex is conducting grade control drilling at the Sabali prospect, covering the entire starter pit at Sabali South with 66,105m of drilling, as well as a further 16,070m drilled at Sabali North and 61,506m drilled at Mansounia.

Results from Sabali South will be used to track the mineral reserve model, confirming the robustness of the greater geological model.
