Revolver Resources (ASX:RRR) has upgraded its mineral resource estimate for the Dianne copper deposit within the greater namesake project in North Queensland.
The area now holds a resource of 1.31 million tonnes @ 1.38% copper, 0.52% zinc, and 3.82 grams per tonne silver, containing 18,000 tonnes copper, 6,800 tonnes zinc, and 161,000 ounces of silver.
Copper has seen a 26% increase in grade in the overall resource.
This represents a 140% increase to the indicated category, now at 1.09 million tonnes with 86% of the optimised open pit material falling into this category.
The total resource comprises the Greenhill supergene oxide open-pit mineralisation of 1.22 million tonnes @ 1.13% copper for 13,800 tonnes contained copper with a 0.25% copper cut-off, and a below-pit component of 86,000 tonnes @ 4.92% copper for 4,300 tonnes contained copper with a 1.5% copper cut-off.
Revolver updated the resource from drilling across 20 diamond holes completed between 2023 and 2025.
Speaking to Mining.com.au, Managing Director Pat Williams describes the updated resource as a “mature, but small at surface, mineable resource”.
“There’s no confusion, uncertainty, or risk with what’s there,” Williams tells this news service.
“We’ve got a tiny, continuous, good-grade little lump of copper that has a high degree of confidence geologically and geo-chemically that will be there for us to turn into a mine in the very near future.”
The company will restart mining operations and begin heap leaching to produce copper cathode after upgrading a large component of the Greenhill target to indicated status.
“Our priority is to now finalise all residual development workstreams, including offtake and financing in order to take a positive final investment decision on the Dianne Copper Mine Project in the coming months,” Williams says.
“This would have us on track to deliver targeted first copper cathode output during H2 2026.
“Longer term, the high-grade primary lens extending beneath the modelled open pit shell delivers potential open pit extension or underground mining in the future, which could result in a significantly longer life operation than initially anticipated.”
Revolver Resources is an Australian explorer focused on developing resources needed for the global shift towards electrification, owning a whole stake in two copper projects located in Queensland.
