Regener8 Resources prepares to develop next phase of exploration for Kookynie Gold Project, WA

ASX-listed Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) is preparing to develop the next phase of exploration to deliver effective value to its Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia.

The company says over the coming months it will be receiving further assays from multi-element testing of selected samples from the project, undertaking further analyses of the results, and updating the Kookynie geological model.

This announcement comes after Regener8 received exploration results from the Niagara West phase one reverse circulation (RC) program, which intersected ‘high-grade’ gold.

The program consisted of 33 holes for 2,530m, which was completed to test extensions of historically mined gold mineralisation at the May, Fervent, Jarrahdale, and Spinaway prospects and soil anomalies at Green Bullet.

Some of the ‘significant’ results at the May prospect included hole NGRC017 with 5m @ 3.18g/t Au from 29m, including 2m @ 7.28g/t Au from 29m, which includes 1m @ 13.05g/t Au from 30m; and hole NGRC018 with 2m @ 4.49g/t Au from 39m, including 1m @ 8.42g/t Au from 40m.

Commenting on the recent results, Regener8 Resources Managing Director Stephen Foley says: “The results of Regener8’s maiden RC program at Niagara West demonstrate successful outcomes of a systematic exploration approach using modern techniques.

We’re buoyed by the findings and are excited to see the extensions of mineralisation open down-dip and along strike at numerous targets surrounded by historical high-grade hits”

We’re buoyed by the findings and are excited to see the extensions of mineralisation open down-dip and along strike at numerous targets surrounded by historical high-grade hits. The possibility of stacked mineralised structures in the Niagara area has been an ongoing hypothesis of geologists with knowledge of the district.

Our observations and results from this maiden program are starting to suggest a strengthening possibility of occurrence, which further encourages future exploration for the prospect of a significant discovery.”

The company adds that the RC program has achieved the outset goals of confirming ‘high-grade’ historical gold intersections, down-dip continuation of gold mineralisation, and previously undrilled or lightly drilled prospects at Derwent and Green Bullet.

The Niagara West Project is part of the company’s Kookynie Gold Project, centred in the historic Kookynie and Niagara gold mining districts, which historically mined about 6,700 tonnes of ore, averaging 25.8g/t Au for 5,100oz Au between 1898 and 1914.

Regener8 Resources is a resource company focused on the Kookynie Gold Project in Western Australia. The Kookynie Project is located in the Kookynie district of Western Australia, about 150km north of Kalgoorlie and 55km south of Leonora.
