Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) has completed the acquisition of Bosnian mining exploration company Orichalcum, thereby gaining full ownership of the Srebrenica North Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the company, this marks a “key milestone” in its expansion into one of Europe’s most active polymetallic mining districts.
The acquisition was completed after shareholders approved it at a general meeting on 6 May 2026 and after executing the binding sale purchase agreement with shareholders of Orichalcum.
Regener8 intends to conduct soil sampling and ground magnetics at Srebrenica North in the coming weeks, as part of its maiden exploration campaign.
The company’s maiden exploration campaign at Srebrenica North intends to advance the asset to being drill-ready.
Managing Director Stephen Foley says the completion of this acquisition “caps months of focused work”, with the company now shifting its attention to getting on the ground.
“We look forward to updating the market over the coming weeks as we commence maiden soil sampling and ground magnetics programs — the first modern, systematic exploration this highly prospective district has seen in over 50 years,” Foley says.
Regener8 Resources is focused on advancing its flagship Srebrenica North Project, which is prospective for hosting silver, copper, antimony, zinc, and lead mineralisation.
