Q2 Metals (TSX-V:QTWO) has extended mineralisation at the Cisco Lithium Project in the James Bay region in Québec, Canada from its winter drilling campaign.
The campaign has returned five intercepts from hole CS25-065 including 179.2m @ 1.24% lithium oxide and 15.7m @ 1.48% lithium oxide, extending the system to the north at shallow depths.
Hole CS25-057 returned six intervals including 49.8 @ 1.41% lithium oxide and 35.8m @ 1.51% lithium oxide.
Q2 Metals has completed drilling across 74 holes for 31,961m for the winter campaign, with assays pending on the remaining holes.
The company has restarted drilling after the end of year break, comprising four drill rigs to operate at Cisco. Q2 Metals intends to continue infill drilling ahead of an indicated resource definition for an inaugural preliminary economic assessment in late-2026.
CEO Alicia Milne says the team is excited to get back to work at the project after completing “sufficient drilling” to deliver an inferred resource estimate this quarter.
“The exploration target announced in July 2025 defined a potential range of tonnage and grade based on the first 40 holes on the Cisco Project and the next major milestone will be quantifying an official resource benchmark the Cisco Project against global peers,” Milne says.

Vice President of Exploration Neil McCallum says drillhole 65 illustrates the “continued growth potential of the Cisco Project”.
“This hole was designed to define the limits of the system but instead discovered that the system but instead discovered that the trend extends beyond our expectations,” McCallum says.
“With the team now back at the Cisco Project and four drill rigs operating, we are eager to continue our infill drill program while potentially expanding upon the mineralised zone’s known boundaries.
“Our primary focus this winter will be to upgrade the pending inferred mineral resources to the indicated category as the company works towards an inaugural preliminary economic assessment for late 2026.”
Q2 Metals is a Canadian mineral explorer focused on unlocking its portfolio of lithium projects in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Québec, Canada.
