Impact Minerals (ASX:IPT) has received firm commitments to raise $2 million in an oversubscribed placement to advance its key projects without interruption during a volatile market.
The company will issue 40 million shares at $0.05 each, while also issuing two free-attaching options for every three shares, with options holding an exercise price of $0.015 each and expiring on 28 September 2027.
Funds will be used to cover ongoing test work and Feasibility Study costs at the Lake Hope and Salmon Gims Project, as well as investments into Alluminous and exploration at Broken Hill.
GBA Capital is acting as the lead manager for this placement, which is expected to settle on 2 April 2026.
Impact’s primary focus is on accelerating its entry into the global high-purity alumina (HPA) marketplace by developing a scalable, cost-competitive route to HPA production.
The Lake Hope HPA Project is pushing towards the feasibility stage, collaborating with Edith Cowan University to integrate the Alluminous HiPurA process.
Managing Director Mike Jones says Impact has made significant progress across multiple fonts over the past few months, as the company is “seeing the emergence of a broader opportunity beyond a single project”.
“The Lake Hope-Salmon Gums region is demonstrating the potential to support a range of valuable industrial products, including high purity alumina, sulphate of potash fertiliser and hydrochloric acid, all derived from the same underlying mineral system,” Jones says.
“At the same time, global events are reinforcing the importance of secure supply chains for fertilisers and industrial chemicals.
“In that context, we believe Impact is positioning itself to play a role in supplying strategically important materials within Australia.
“With this backing, we remain focused on progressing our projects in a disciplined manner and converting our growing technical base into clear commercial outcomes.”
Impact Minerals is a minerals explorer, with a primary focus on the high purity alumina industry and additional exploration targets in Australia.
