Pivotal Metals (ASX:PVT) has set a number of priority exploration targets at the Belleterre Project in Québec, solely funded by a recent capital raising.
Prospective for copper, platinum group metals (PGM), and gold, Pivotal will conduct a number of exploration workstreams across the Alotta and Lorraine prospects.
The company intends to begin an induced polarisation survey at the Lorraine East prospect this month, refining a gold mineralised corridor extending for 1.5km and anchored off a channel sample of 28m @ 45 grams per tonne gold.
Over at the Lorraine Mine, Pivotal will also initiate an electromagnetic survey shortly to optimise drilling in Q4 2025. Drilling will test the Lorraine Mine conductors that extend north from the historically producing mine.
Geophysical surveys will roll out across the Alotta-Midrim-LaCroche belt for an intended winter field exploration season.
The company has also begun field reconnaissance and target validation of recently uncovered zones this week.
All exploration workstreams are intended to be covered by Pivotal’s $5.4 million placement, as reported by Mining.com.au.
Managing Director Ivan Fairhall says the ramp-up of survey work at the greater project is indicative of “increased exploration intensity”.
“With the capital now secured, we’re executing a high-quality field program geared toward discovery,” Fairhall says.
“The wider Belleterre project has multiple drill ready targets and excellent prospectivity for both massive sulphide copper-PGM and high-grade gold – a fantastic commodity combination in a top-tier mining jurisdiction.”
Pivotal Metals is a mineral explorer and developer of critical mineral projects in Canada.
