Patriot expands silver project in Peru

Patriot Resources (ASX:PAT) has secured additional ground at its Tassa Silver-Gold Project in Peru through the staking of the Tassa 5 tenement.

The new tenement extends the company’s landholding directly south of its existing project area, immediately adjoining the 31.4-million-ounce silver equivalent maiden inferred mineral resource at 52.68 grams per tonne silver equivalent.

With this, Patriot’s tenure at Tassa has increased from 1,200 hectares to 1,800 hectares within the silver-gold mineralised corridor controlled by the Tassa Fault. The expanded landholding has grown the interpreted strike length from 2.9km to 3.1km, based on available historical data.

Patriot notes the mineral resource remains open in all directions, with the new ground providing additional exploration potential along the southern trend of the system.

CEO and Managing Director Dominic Duggan says Tassa 5 gives the company the “final piece” of available highly prospective land in the vicinity, directly adjoining its project.

“Our focus remains working with the Tassa and Pachamayo communities to progress a community agreement to support a phase one drilling program,” Duggan says.

Peru’s Ministry of Energy and Mines has confirmed that Tassa’s environmental impact declaration remains valid.

The company is progressing direct board-level engagement with the Tassa community following meetings in June and July 2026 and is also in dialogue with the Pachamayo community, whose land overlaps the Tassa 5 tenement.

Patriot intends to continue geological mapping and sampling as part of target generation and drill hole planning across the broader project area to support the planned phase one drill program, subject to reaching an agreement with local communities.

Patriot Resources is an explorer focused on copper, silver, and critical metals in tier one mining jurisdictions.
