Patriot Battery kicks off summer-autumn exploration at Corvette

Patriot Battery Metals (ASX:PMT) has begun its 2024 summer-autumn exploration program, with two drill rigs testing the Vega zone at the CV13 pegmatite, part of the Corvette property in Québec, Canada.

At CV13, the program has been designed to expand and delineate the mineralisation at the Vega zone. The company says 10,000m of drilling is under consideration during the North American summer-autumn period.

Meanwhile, at the CV5 pegmatite, infill drilling is scheduled to resume early next month and will continue through to late September. Drilling will target inferred blocks as categorised in the pending resource estimate update, with the aim of delineating a coherent body of indicated mineral resource blocks to underpin a Feasibility Study in the second half of 2025.

Patriot Battery expects to add another rig in August to conduct geomechanical drilling at CV5 to support advanced open-pit design.

In parallel with exploration activities, Patriot Battery will continue collecting environmental baseline data to build on previous years in support of an environmental and social impact assessment submission for the project. This is scheduled to be completed in September 2025.

An updated resource estimate for Corvette is expected to be released in August. The update will include the CV5 and CV13 spodumene pegmatites underpinning a consolidated mineral resource statement for the project.

The CV lithium trend is an emerging spodumene pegmatite district discovered by Patriot in 2017, and is interpreted to span more than 50km across the Corvette property.

Patriot Battery Metals is a hard-rock lithium explorer focused on advancing its wholly owned Corvette property in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region in Canada.
