Pacgold sails along Alice River’s mineralisation

Pacgold (ASX:PGO) has uncovered “strong gold mineralisation” at the Kapok quartz vein outcrop within the Alice River Gold Project in northeast Queensland.

The company conducted reverse circulation drilling across 12,586m for 118 holes, and 4,608m of aircore drilling for 434 holes, completed in late-October.

Aircore drilling at the Kopak prospect returned mineralisation within a 50m wide corridor, including 15m @ 0.38 grams per tonne gold from 0m, including 4m @ 0.70g/t from 4m; 15m @ 0.25g/t gold from 0m, including 3m @ 0.40g/t from 0m; and 16m @ 0.23g/t gold from 0m, including 6m @ 0.35g/t from 4m.

Meanwhile, drilling at the Victoria prospect has identified extensions to previously uncovered gold mineralisation.

Managing Director Matthew Boyes says the project has continued to deliver “compelling results” as Pacgold continues to unlock the greater potential of the goldfield.

“The delineation of wide zones of continuous mineralisation at Kapok in the first pass aircore program is really exciting, along with confirmation of goldbearing structures at Victoria in areas under cover and never-before drilled,” Boyes says.

“Together with the recently released high-grade Posie drilling results, the recent drilling continues to strengthen our understanding of the system and add confidence to what we believe has the potential of a major gold discovery at Alice River.”

Pacgold is an Australian mineral explorer focused on advancing its projects in northeast Queensland.

The company will be attending this year’s Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held between 12-14 November 2025, at the Peppers Noosa Resort. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event.
