Pacgold (ASX:PGO) is mobilising screen and crusher equipment to the White Dam Gold Project in South Australia for heap leach re-crushing to begin at the top lift.
The company is receiving an ST 4.1 Metso screen and Metso HP300 cone crusher with a radial stacker this week beginning 9 March 2026, after the site was temporarily closed due to inclement weather conditions.
At the Olary province, where the site is located, Pacgold was unable to access the mine while refurbishment at the CIC tanks and other works were temporarily halted for a week due to 100mm of rainfall.
Assays from earlier sampling at the top lift and testwork results are expected to be returned in the coming weeks, which will allow Pacgold to estimate forecast production across 2026 and 2027.
Managing Director Matthew Boyes says the company is “well-positioned” to re-crush the top lift with the impending arrival of equipment.
“Once running at full capacity, the circuit designed throughput is approximately 350 tonne per hour, we expect to reach the design throughput after a standard ramp up period,” Boyes says.
“While the recent heavy rainfall has temporarily restricted site access and paused minor refurbishment works, the safety of our personnel remains our absolute priority.
“This weather event has caused a short delay in completion of refurbishment works on the several of the CIC columns, although leaching continues and the addition of significant amount of water into the pad and storage ponds is very welcome.
“The plant is scheduled to be back running at full nameplate capacity again after this minor delay, as we continue to ramp up leaching and irrigation capacities.”
Pacgold is a gold-focused explorer focused on advancing its portfolio of assets in North Queensland and South Australia.
