Pacgold gains momentum at Alice River

Pacgold (ASX:PGO) is continuing its diamond drilling program at the Alice River Gold Project in Queensland as the company progresses structural and metallurgical testwork.

The 25 hole for 2,700m drilling program will focus on metallurgical sampling and structural information from the Central, Southern, and Posie targets. The program will be conducted in specific zones of the maiden resource estimate.

In May 2025, Pacgold conducted a resource estimate which contains 12.2 million tonnes @ 1.2 grams per tonne for 474,000 ounces of gold, within a global resource of 26.7 million tonnes @ 1.01g/t for 854,000 ounces of gold.

Managing Director Matthew Boyes says the holes will be primarily used to better understand the structural controls and directions of the main mineralised shoots within the system predominantly into areas where no previous diamond drilling has been completed.

First-pass drilling on the Jerry Dodds and Victoria prospects are also planned to provide drill core for detailed analysis of the geological and structural characteristics of the gold mineralisation intersected in previous drilling.

Once diamond drilling crews are installed and underway, Pacgold will mobilise an aircore rig to conduct a regional program along strike from Victoria down to the White Lion prospect.

Additional geophysics is also planned at White Lion to better define depth and extents of the initial drill area. Detailed ground magnetics and pole-dipole geophysical work will be run over the area in the next three to four weeks.

Pacgold is a junior mineral explorer focused on the Alice River Gold Project which sits at the northern end of the Northeast Queensland Minerals Province. The project comprises 30km of prospective gold targets within 377km2 of granted exploration permits and mining leases.
