Pacgold extends St George’s fence structure

Pacgold (ASX:PGO) has extended the fence structure of seven major targets at the St George Gold-Antimony Project in northeast Queensland, after returning new results from geochemical soil and rock chip sampling programs at the asset.

The program has extended the known gold and antimony anomalism hosted within the fence structural zone for over 30km.

Pacgold returned intercepts from the rock chip samples taken from the Limestone prospect, featuring grades including 18.5 grams per tonne gold, 5.37g/t gold, 4.86g/t gold, and 4.96g/t gold.

The Limestone and Big Watson prospects both returned new anomalies, with Limestone indicating “strong gold” and Big Watson prospective for gold-antimony-arsenic anomalies.

Of the seven defined anomalies across the project, only one target has experienced modern drilling. Pacgold has prioritised multiple targets to be tested in the next round of drilling.

Data collected in the 2025 program has now been interpreted and will be followed up with geochemical, geophysical, and drilling programs, which will follow after the northern wet season.

Managing Director Matthew Boyes says the ground package, with its number of fertile structures and extent of mineralisation, continues to increase “rapidly”.

“The discovery of high-grade gold at surface at the Limestone Project is particularly exciting with multiple outcropping veins returning high-grade gold numbers over a large area,” Boyes says.

“We have now demonstrated that the Fence structure is mineralised over a strike length of approximately 30km from Big Watson in the south up to the Limestone prospect in the north, this coupled with multiple newly delineated soil anomalies gives the company a strong pipeline of targets to follow up once the exploration season kicks off this year.”

Pacgold is a gold-focused explorer focused on advancing its portfolio of assets in North Queensland and South Australia.
