The final date for Orpheus Uranium’s (ASX:ORP) acquisition of the Oobagooma Uranium Project from Elevate Uranium subsidiary Jackson Cage has been extended.
The acquisition agreement has been extended to 22 July 2026, allowing additional time to finalise certain conditions precedent to the completion of the transaction regarding third-party agreements.
The original agreement terms stated that the acquisition must be completed within 120 days of the execution being 11 February 2026, unless extended.
Orpheus announced the acquisition on 14 October 2025.
Orpheus is focused on delivering the acquisition and says it looks forward to working with Jackson Cage and related third parties to finalise the agreement.
The Oobagooma Project is located within the Canning Basin in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.
The company says the project hosts exploration upside with geological modelling interpreting a minimum of four prospective roll fronts extending along a 9km strike length.
