Opawica Explorations (TSX-V:OPW) CEO Blake Morgan says the company is combining the power of artificial intelligence (AI) with traditional geoscience to uncover a gold system at the Arrowhead Project in Canada.
“With advanced data and a significantly expanded campaign, we’re ready to show the market the true scale of Arrowhead’s potential,” Morgan says.
In collaboration with ALS GoldSpot Discoveries, Opawica has uncovered 20 high-priority drill-ready zones using the AI explorer’s proprietary technology.
The AI method integrates millions of dollars worth of geological data across a high-resolution 5m by 5m by 5m grid, delivering precision in mineral targeting.
As part of the upcoming drill program, 15 holes for 4,500m will focus on continuity at the Western Zone, while three holes for 2,000m will test a Z-shaped fold hinge zone linked to induced polarisation anomalies at the Eastern Zone.
In addition, two deep holes for 1,000m will focus on seismic-based targets and four holes for 1,500m will follow-up historical values near hole 95-04.
The Arrowhead Project, located in the Abitibi Gold Belt of Canada, is surrounded by Agnico Eagle Mines’ (NYSE:AEM) assets. The Goldex and Akasaba West mines hold more than 1 million ounces in gold reserves and produced 140,983 ounces of gold in 2023.
