One dead at Vault Leonora mine

A DeltaFM employee has died at Vault Minerals’ (ASX:VAU) King of the Hills site in Leonora, Western Australia, from a light vehicle incident on the site’s access road.

The light vehicle was travelling along a 40km/h section of the site access road when it left the road, causing the death of the passenger.

The driver has also sustained minor injuries and is currently undergoing medical treatment. Vault is unaware of any other personnel or vehicles involved in the incident.

Western Australian Police and the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation, and Safety are currently conducting investigations at King of the Hills.

Operations have been voluntarily suspended to allow investigations to be conducted at the site.

Vault says it is assisting both departments with the respective investigations.

The company wishes to extend its condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased and will provide support to the workforce.
