Odyssey Gold (ASX:ODY) reports ‘high-grade’ gold results from reverse circulation drilling at the Cable West area of its Tuckanarra Gold Project in Western Australia.
Hole CBRC0451 intersected 5m @ 16.1 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 30m, including 2m @ 36.7g/t Au, marking a new mineralised structure between the Argos lode and main Cable deposit.
The same hole returned 9m @ 6.8g/t Au from 99m, with individual metres grading 21.9g/t and 23.7g/t Au.
The Argos lode delivered 5m @ 6.7g/t Au from 18m in CBRC0440, including 2m @ 14.3g/t Au, while CBRC0441 returned 7m @ 2.6g/t Au from 42m.
“As we step out west of Cable, we are identifying multiple parallel lodes not currently in the mineral resource estimate [MRE],” Executive Director Matt Syme says.
“Argos is now substantially better defined and CBRC0451 has intersected a completely new high-grade structure.”
The drilling confirms bedrock mineralisation beneath laterite at Argos. Tighter drill spacing and improved geological continuity may support upgrading existing inferred mineralisation to indicated category in the next MRE.
CBRC0451 intersected multiple stacked lodes within the existing Scoping Study pit design. The hole also returned 11m @ 2.4g/t Au from 72m at the Cable West hanging wall structure.
The drilling forms part of a recently completed 20,000m program, with results from a further 60 holes pending. Odyssey plans progressive step-out drilling west of Cable to test continuity, scale, and relationships of the Argos and Cable West lodes.
Tuckanarra hosts indicated and inferred mineral resources of 6.3 million tonnes @ 2.2g/t Au for 451,000 ounces across eight deposits.
Odyssey Gold is an Australian gold explorer holding an 80% interest in the Tuckanarra and Stakewell projects across roughly 170km2 of Western Australia’s Murchison Goldfields.
