NHP Electrical Engineering is supporting the rollout of ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure with EnergyAustralia at 7-Eleven stores, by supplying Delta DC fast-charging hardware.
The three sites part of this project will receive the hardware, backed by local technical support and warranty services. Each site will feature a 200-kilowatt ultra-fast charger, allowing charging from 20% to 80% in 12 to 15 minutes.
EnergyAustralia will deliver 10 charging stations at select 7-Eleven sites across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland over the next two years. The project aims to help make public EV charging more convenient in everyday locations.
The first EnergyAustralia charging station in Victoria is now operational.
NHP’s role
As the hardware partner, NHP is delivering the charging infrastructure with local product expertise, technical support, and warranty backing.
EnergyAustralia Head of Green Transport Jack Kotlyar says that putting fast, reliable charging stations at locations that people frequent means topping up can become ‘as natural as stopping for fuel has been’.
NHP says every charging location has different operational requirements.
“Beyond the charging hardware itself, we’re supporting the rollout with local expertise and warranty backing,” the company says.
The rollout comes as EV adoption continues growing in Australia. EV sales in 2025 rose 38% to more than 157,000 vehicles, according to the Electric Vehicle Council.
