New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) has fully ramped up the Crown Prince Gold Mine operations in Western Australia, with 60,877 tonnes of ore at 3.95 grams per tonne gold trucked to Westgold Resources (ASX:WGR) Bluebird processing facility.
CEO Alex Passmore says the second month of operations has completed the ramp up of the mine and has exceeded expectations.
“We have a strong foundation for production in November,” Passmore says.
“We are very pleased with the successful delivery of our first mine and while retaining focus on ongoing operations, the company is now able to refocus our exploration effort to support future opportunities.”
New Murchison and Westgold have an ore purchase agreement, in which the agreed monthly recoverable gold ounces in ore trucked to Bluebird was 7,285 ounces, with the related ore sales payment due at the end of November 2025.
In September 2025, New Murchison had sent off an initial 10,000 tonne parcel of product from the Crown Prince Mine to the Bluebird facility, which is located 36km south of the mine.
The unreconciled production inventory onsite at the end of October is 37,900 tonnes of Crown Prince ore on the run-of-mine awaiting crushing, as well as 11,200 tonnes of crushed production.
The Crown Prince Mine sits within the Garden Gully Project which comprises 677km2 of tenure covering the Abbotts Greenstone Belt.
