New Frontier recommences field activities at Harts Range

New Frontier Minerals (ASX:NFM) is mobilising geological teams to its Harts Range Heavy Rare Earths and Niobium Project in July to advance the systematic evaluation of 40 remaining priority targets.

The company has drill-tested only six of 46 priority geophysical targets identified across the Northern Territory project, located 140km northeast of Alice Springs.

The upcoming field program will focus on the Kings Cross prospect, a prominent magnetic anomaly measuring approximately 150m to 200m in diameter.

Activities will include detailed geological mapping, rock-chip sampling, and ground-truthing to assess the source of the anomaly.

Chairman Gerrard Hall says the return of New Frontier’s field team in July will allow the company to validate remaining targets where tungsten mineralisation has already been identified.

Recent BHP Xplor-backed research released by Litchfield Minerals (ASX:LMS) has reframed the broader Harts Range as an emerging district-scale copper-nickel-platinum group element mineral system.

Hall says this validates New Frontier’s “long-held” view of the region’s prospectivity.

Targets at Harts Range were defined through integrated interpretation of airborne magnetic and geophysical signatures, prospective for heavy rare earth elements, niobium, and tungsten.

The company will report mapping, sampling, and assay results as they become available from the July field program.

New Frontier Minerals is an Australia-based explorer focused on critical minerals and base metals, with a portfolio of rare earth, niobium, and copper assets in Australia and Canada.
