Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE:NOP) has received heavy metal contaminant assays from the Upper Phosphatic Zone in drill hole MM26-9 at the Murdock Mountain Project in the US, which continues to show results well below the maximum allowed limits for organic fertiliser certification.
Director Garry Smith says the hole intersected 10.73% phosphorous pentoxide over 4.48m of Upper Phosphate Zone, which reinforces the grade continuity that the company is working to define across the trend.
“We are excited to continue advancing Murdock Mountain in the coming months and to begin evaluating the Upper Phosphate Zone on our additional permit application areas,” Smith says.
CEO Robin Dow adds that this is another “solid” intersection from hole MM26-9, demonstrating that the Upper Phosphatic Zone continues to deliver predictable, consistent phosphorous pentoxide grades and thicknesses.
“We continue to meet our objectives, positioning Nevada Organic Phosphate as a genuinely differentiated entrant in the fertiliser market,” Dow says.
As previously reported, Nevada Organic is building data to form the foundation of its next decisions at Murdock Mountain.
Drill hole MM26-9 was drilled vertically to a depth of 146.93m. The drill collar is positioned 100m north and upslope from last fall’s drill hole MM25-6. The hole intersected an apparent 42.15m of the Meade Peak unit.
The Murdock Mountain Project is located in Nevada and situated next to infrastructure, including rail and road access. The project has historical geologic mapping which has traced the phosphate-rich bed over a strike length of 8km, with a potential average thickness of 3.35m @ up to 15% phosphorous pentoxide.
Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior explorer with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, 6.6km-long, in northeast Nevada.
