MetalsGrove appoints strategic advisors to push discovery

MetalsGrove Mining (ASX:MGA) has appointed three West African gold exploration professionals as strategic advisors for a new discovery push.

These strategic advisors include geologist Peter Ledwidge, CRC Resources Group’s principal Colin Carson, as well as gold and copper geologist Rob Perring.

Ledwidge has over 35 years’ experience in exploration, mining and corporate activities. His career has focused primarily on gold in Canada, Africa and Australia with the last 16 years working on projects in West Africa.

He was the founder and Managing Director of Mako Gold until the recent merger via a takeover by Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE).

Carson generates and identifies African and Australian exploration opportunities for companies, as well as advises on mining laws and deal structuring.

Meanwhile, Perring has spent the past 18 years focused on securing discovery opportunities in northern Africa and the Middle East.

MetalsGrove CEO Lijun Yang says each person brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of West Africa’s gold potential.

“Their proven track records in discovery, project development, and government engagement will be invaluable as we advance our recently acquired gold joint venture permits,” the CEO says.

“This is a major step forward in building a strong, locally attuned team that can deliver exploration success.”

MetalsGrove Mining is a mineral resources explorer focused on its portfolio of prospects targeting gold, copper, and other minerals located across Australia.
