Tempest Minerals (ASX:TEM) has reported the latest metallurgical results from its Remorse iron discovery within the company’s flagship Yalgoo Project portfolio in Western Australia.
Using Davis Tube Recovery testing methods, Tempest reveals that the metallurgical results show up to 68.8% iron in concentrate (25μm).
Composite samples are expected in the coming month, where data will be integrated into a deposit assessment ahead of plans for further project development work.
The company added that reverse circulation drilling for composite 1 indicate an averaged assay grade returned 32.29% iron with results expected at 25μm.
As reported by Mining.com.au, Remorse has an indicated resource estimate of 63.5 million tonnes @ 30.6% iron.
The Remorse deposit is a magnetite iron deposit located on the eastern side of the Yalgoo Project, spanning more than 1,000km2.
