Lodestar extends Gidgee Flat’s gold mineralisation

Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) has extended gold mineralisation at the Gidgee Flat prospect within the greater Ned’s Creek Project in Western Australia, after completing a reverse circulation drilling campaign.

The extension runs south-west along strike for 330m from previous drilling, as well as extending 500m from the centre of the main mineralised zone at Gidgee Flat.

The program, comprising four holes for 966m of drilling, returned 16m @ 1.94 grams per tonne gold from 228m, including 4m @ 6.75g/t gold from 228m; and 28m @ 0.63g/t gold from 205m, including 1m @ 1.50g/t gold from 208m, and 8m @ 1.49g/t gold from 223m.

While two drillholes targeted an extension, the other two tested the continuity of mineralisation between existing drill intercepts, while also at depth beneath these intercepts.

Head of Exploration Coraline Blaud says the results show the potential of Ned’s Creek for extensive gold mineralisation.

“This program has given us the confidence to take the Ned’s Creek Project to the next level,” Blaud says.

At the Three Saints Project in Chile, drilling has been delayed and the local team is ready to resume the program in the first week of November 2025.

“This is an exciting time for Lodestar, as we prepare for exploration advancements through the investigation of porphyry-style targets at the Three Saints Project and compelling iron oxide copper-gold/iron oxide–apatite-style targets at the Nicanor Project,” Blaud adds.

Lodestar Minerals is a gold and base metal explorer focused on developing its portfolio of assets in Chile and Western Australia.
