Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) has returned ‘high-grade’ gold intersections at the Gidgee Flat prospect within its Ned’s Creek Gold Project in Western Australia.
Standout results include 16m @ 3.23 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 32m, with 8m @ 6.06g/t Au.
The results support the company’s December 2025 exploration target of 250,000–300,000 ounces of gold in the range of 5–7 million tonnes at 1–1.7g/t Au across the three main prospects: Gidgee Flat, Contessa, and Central Park.
Hole LNRC159, a vertical hole at the margin of the oxide zone, confirmed historical rotary air blast drilling results with a broad zone of oxide mineralisation resulting from supergene enrichment.
The same hole also returned 20m @ 1.34g/t Au from 56m.
Located on the southernmost Gidgee Flat section, LNRC158 intersected multiple narrow intervals of above 1g/t Au within a broad zone of anomalism, including 5m @ 1.42g/t Au from 194m, with 1m @ 3.39g/t Au and 1m @ 3.1g/t Au.
The results confirm mineralisation is open to the south along strike.
“The extension of mineralisation into the Gidgee Flat area presents an exciting opportunity to expand the existing known mineralisation footprint and further evaluate the broader scale potential of the exploration target,” CEO Coraline Blaud says.
The company is working towards delivery of a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for Ned’s Creek in 2026.
Resampling of 4m composite samples is currently underway, with a resource geologist to commence geological modelling to ensure timely generation of the MRE.
Lodestar Minerals is an Australian explorer advancing gold and critical minerals projects, including the Ned’s Creek Project in WA and the Los Loros and Three Saints projects in Chile.
