Locksley uncovers more Mojave mineralisation

Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) has identified a 3km mineralised corridor trending northwest to southwest at the Mojave Project in California.

Samples returned up to 409 grams per tonne silver 320m southwest of the Desert Antimony Mine within Mojave.

Rock chip sampling also confirmed base metal mineralisation, with grades of up to 4.2% copper, 1.5% lead, and 1.5% zinc.

The campaign was designed to test the strike extent of silver mineralisation identified in 2024.

Locksley will undergo a detailed geological mapping program between the silver prospect and the new extension in order to define structural geometry and continuity of the trend.

Samples will be submitted for petrological interpretation to determine timing of mineralisation and geochemical associations, as well as assessing geophysical survey options for the project.

This work will allow the company to delineate drill targets along the corridor.

CEO Kerrie Matthews says these rock chip sampling outcomes are “highly encouraging” for the company as it defines a 3km mineralised trend with surface results up to 409g/t silver and 1.5% copper.

“Importantly, this discovery complements our core antimony development strategy and gives exposure as a diversified US critical minerals company, providing shareholders with upside to precious metals, base metals, and strategic minerals within a single, high-quality project area,” Matthews says.

As reported by Mining.com.au, Locksley obtained a letter of interest from the US Export-Import Bank (EXIM) in November 2025, valued up to $191 million to push Mojave towards development.

The company intends to secure additional government and institutional support, prepare workstreams for mine development and downstream processing pathways, and expedite commercial production at a pilot-scale.

Locksley’s US mine-to-market strategy is focused on running parallel workstreams to produce US-made antimony via government funding.

The US and Australia recently joined forces to organise a secure supply of critical minerals amid export bans from China, with President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese signing a critical minerals framework at the end of 2025.

Locksley Resources is a critical minerals explorer focused on advancing the Mojave Project in California, targeting rare earths and antimony.
