Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) has appointed Kerrie Matthews as Managing Director and CEO as of 29 October 2025.
The appointment follows Matthews recent success with executing the US mine-to-metal strategy.
The strategy sees the company revealing the first US-sourced antimony metal ingot uncovered in decades, as well as Locksley’s transition towards pilot-scale production in the US.
Chairman Patrick Burke says Matthews has delivered “tangible” milestones that de-risk the company’s US antimony strategy ahead of commercial engagement.
“Elevating her to Managing Director aligns our leadership structure with the clear near-term priorities of pilot-scale development, securing government programs, and achieving offtake readiness,” Burke says.

Matthews (pictured right) says she is honoured to step into the role at such a fundamental time for the US antimony market with government funding, defence stockpiling and private sector demand all converging to rebuild a secure, domestic supply chain.
“Our progress at the Mojave Project, together with trusted US partners like Hazen Research, GreenMet and Rice University, puts Locksley at the centre of that transformation,” Matthews says.
“Delivering the first 100% American-made ingot in decades proved what’s possible when focus and capability are aligned.
“I am excited by the momentum we’re building toward pilot-scale production and the opportunity to establish Locksley as a cornerstone supply of critical minerals for the US.”
Meanwhile, Steve Woodham has resigned from his role on the board as a Director.
“His insights and experience have played an important role in the company’s progress, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Chairman Burke adds.
Locksley Resources is a critical minerals explorer focused on establishing a stable supply chain of antimony for the US market.
