Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) has completed data processing for the high-resolution helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric survey finalised across the Mojave Project in California.
The survey has delivered a step-change in the quality of the data, as compared to historical data, with precision that enables the company to identify new high-priority targets for further investigation.
Included in the new targets is a pronounced thorium anomaly in the northeast of the North Block claims and an additional thorium anomaly trending parallel and 700m east of the El Campo Prospect.
Managing Director and CEO Kerrie Matthews says that the results are a “game-changer” for the Mojave Project.
“Moving from broad legacy geophysical data to this level of detail is like turning on the lights in a dark room,” Matthews adds.
“We can now see clearly defined structural corridors and thorium anomalies that look geological similar to the systems known in the district.
“The identification of a potential parallel system near El Campo is particularly exciting and will be a priority for our field teams.”
The company continues to assess and rank additional secondary targets. Structural interpretation is ongoing with field teams verifying these new anomalies.
Prior to defining drill targets for 2026, the company will finalise the ground truthing through mapping and rock chip sampling.
Locksley Resources is advancing the Mojave Project in California, targeting rare earth elements and antimony.
