Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML) has identified a 7km strike of a multi-metal sulphide system at the Minbrie prospect within the greater Minbrie Project, along the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia.
Assays returned new results of apparent width including 0.3m @ 0.18% copper, 2% zinc, 4.6 grams per tonne silver from between 451-451.3m, as well as 0.7m @ 3.1% zinc, 0.46% lead from 201.3-202m.
Laboratory assays intended to follow up on historical drilling conducted by Centrex Metals (ASX:CXM) in 2011, a program that Lincoln suggests overlooked the base metal potential under the banded iron formation in its search for iron ore.
Historical assays include 29.5m @ 0.8% copper, 7.5% lead, 1.9% zinc, 9g/t silver from 131.1m including 12m @ 1.4% copper, 12.4% lead, 2.1% zinc, and 13g/t silver from 139m.
CEO Jonathon Trewartha says the results confirm a multi-metal sulphide system that remains open in multiple directions.

“By re-assaying the historic core, we’ve unlocked significant copper, zinc, lead, and silver potential at minimal cost and in rapid time,” Trewartha says.
“This positions Minbrie as a potential large-scale multi-metal discovery in an underexplored district, giving us a clear runway to target thicker, higher-grade zones as we move into our high-impact drilling program next quarter.”
This new exploration program intends to prepare the company for its maiden drilling campaign in Q4 2025 with refined and new targets.
