Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML) has received a $294,096 loan against its research and development (R&D) tax rebate to advance the Minbrie Copper-Zinc Project in South Australia.
The company’s FY2025 refundable tax offset is estimated to be $368,575 and is anticipated to be received in September 2025. The loan is secured by and repayable out of the 2025 R&D tax rebate and attracts a fixed 17% per annum interest rate.
The loan matures on 31 December 2025 and can be extended by agreement between the lender and Lincoln.
Lincoln intends to use the funds to support working capital requirements, as well as ongoing work programs targeting the completion of drill-ready targets at Minbrie.
CEO Jonathon Trewartha says the loan provides non-dilutive capital to allow the company to continue working at the Minbrie discovery.
“We continue our program of re-logging and assaying existing drill core to accelerate exploration of Minbrie, with prioritisation of drill targets expected next month,” Trewartha says.
Lincoln Minerals is an Australian explorer and developer focused on advancing critical mineral projects in South Australia’s Gawler Craton.
